Famous Scientific Proven Experiments

Firstly, just to credit the SBS Exploration of Human Body-Super Junior Special programmes, these are what I learnt:
There are definite ways how to win a guy in arm-wrestling and weight-lifting.
1. Arm Wrestling

The best way is to get urself dizzy to the direction your hand is trying to hit the ground. By doin that, first create an elephant pose or stance, left hand hold nose while right hand resting on left arm. Then spin yourself anti-clockwise 10 times, after that straight away get on with the match and you will 80% or most of the time win him. However, if his strength is superior, this theory will not work.

Another way is do the Round and Round the Bush game. Ask some fellow mates to spin themselves anti-clockwise, then only you concentrate on them while ask your opponent to rest his eyes and keep his head downwards. Then also after about 4-5 rounds, straight away start and your strength would have mysteriously grown to be more powerful.

As for weight-lifting part, one way is to breathe in liquid ammonia, stinging to the nose and eyes, but waking up the senses. THen smack the guy's chin or cheeks many times, legs too, then in the correct stance and shout, it should be possible

If you are asking for something that can make you laugh, breathe in nitrous oxide, it calms the nerves and gives a pleasant feeling or drowsy for the inhaler, which then even if a small cold joke is being said, he would break down and fall on the ground, laughing like a maniac. But problem, it is rather difficult to achieve this in normal everyday lives, we need a laboratory.

I hope some other English shows, Singapore ones to show these experiments and bring its audience to greater heights. As said by the famous themepark or cartoon tycoon Walt Disney, "if you can dream it, you can do it" with that, I am going to eat.

Misunderstanding causes a huge embarassment

I saw a woman today, waiting at the covered bus-stop, she was flagging/waving her hand frantically to what it seemed calling for a taxi. Just then, a taxi from the fast lane, crossed to the bus stop to pick her up. But she did not move, she kept waving her hand, just then i saw behind me the bus stop, she was going for the bus. Oh man, what a poor taxi driver, having need to get the scoldings from the traffic and earn himself 1 less passenger just because of a woman's shortsightedness.

Like who would wave so climatically just for a bus, of course the big vehicle would see her, furthermore, it could be like seen miles away, she could have just waved as the bus approached the station not so far behind when so many taxis pass by.

Singaporeans embarassing behaviour should be refined to a more perfect level, where one knows the rules and feelings of others before acting. Moment of rashness should not be pardoned wherever and whenever possible.

Hey, I should post this on Stomp but I know it wouldn't cause much of a discussion as everyone would most likely disagree with me. Change subject today, I learnt a couple of new words in the dictionary- Jekyll and Hyde, Kleenex, Google, Youtube.

English is what seems a forever improving language, everyday new trademarks and words are formed and added to Longman. Haze is one new word definitely I learnt it means mocking someone and making fun of him, no more the usual smoke and unclearness caused by some hug forest fire or pollution nearby.

I also read that coin flips are flaws. The side which a guy is planning to have it land on, is most likely the starting position of the coin before it is thrown. Probability of that is more than 50%.
Ok, this is not real, i was just making an assumption.

This term sucks

There are many factors that explain why this term is going to be ridiculous.
1. Outward Bound Singapore
2. School Tests
3. Outward Bound Singapore
4. Outward Bound Singapore
5. Outward Bound Singapore
6. Outward Bound Singapore

Ok, well maybe there are only two. Outward Bound School is going to be fun and thrilling, but why am I all tensed up over it? It's because of a damn medical checkup. After no foreign objects coming in contact with my skin for two years already, my fear arrived.

I received a letter from OBS, that they required a medical checkup. Worser than that, I was to do it by next Tuesday, worse news, I just got the letter yesterday, Best of the worst news ever, I have to do it tomorrow.
Many people say it's no big deal, adapted from Yahoo answers : from that writer girl

I remember how nervous I was when I had my first blood test. Don't worry, everybody gets a little nervous but I know you'll be fine. Here is what I do: Find something to stare at on the wall, ceiling or floor, anything in the room... it could be a crack in the wall or a picture... When I had my first blood test I stared at the wallpaper, there were birds on it. So I just looked at that bird and before I knew it, it was over and I was fine! Tell your nurse that you're a little nervous and she'll be really careful and quick for you. Ask her to tell you when she's about to do it... It helps to be prepared. Here is what the nurse will do: She will take a rubber band and tie it on your arm just above your elbow. It feels a little weird but it won't last long! She will take a little alcohol swab to clean off the spot on your arm, it will probably feel cold. Then, she will let you know that it's time. You'll feel a little prick... it's sort of like a pinch, or getting pricked by a thorn.... actually it's not so bad. If you have ever used a needle and thread for sewing and accidentally stuck your thumb, it feels a little like that... but it won't itch or sting afterward because the needle will be clean and so will your arm! Anyway, it will probably take less than a minute to do the whole thing, (including the nurse's preparation.) When she is done, the nurse will put a nice clean cotton ball on the inside of your elbow and she'll fold your elbow "closed" so that you won't bleed. Then she'll come back and stick a band aid over the cotton ball and you'll be all done! Ask your Mom to take you out for your some kind of special treat for being so brave! I know your Mom will be proud and you should be too! The good thing about blood tests is that most people don't need to have them very often! It's good to get it out of the way though, all part of growing up I guess. Best of luck! Remember, just focus your eyes on something and try to distract your mind... think of your favorite song or pet, or any happy thought.

Lengthy but meaningful. Yeah everybody will surely get a blood test/ medical check up when they are Sec 3 for Outward Bound, but Sec 2, it's too early!

Secondly, tests.
I performed badly this term. I lost my confidence.
For Chinese, I got an A2, for English a B3, for Maths, currently B3, 27/40, oh man, i thought i could get 30! History and Geog, would probably fit the criteria for hardest tests on this whole year.

Out of the green, and into the blue, or wadever, I got to know a new song.
Really really really really really really really really really really really really really really catchy.

Numb

This happened a few days ago. I woke up, and was still almost halp-asleep in the air-con room, and then I suddenly touched a quite soft and almost tender object. I opened my eyes, only to discover I was touching my other hand. It was so numb, that I thought it had been amputated.

Yesterday, I went to the NDP 09 rehearsal. This year is definitely more exciting and nail-biting then the previous years. Cool videos and fun surprises especially the news report. It's realy cool , i hope it doesnt rain on the actual day.

Genting Trip soon

Woo, i can’t wait for it to come. Actually it’s coming just about tomorrow.

Hmm, i feel there may be some surprise guests coming with us. Not those stars or actors, but people we may know. Well, at least my cousins know.

I will not be able to sleep tonite, for sure. But hey, i paid a price for this trip. I missed ATC!

Euro Truck Simulator

It’s really a cool game.

Usually the title explains everything, same goes here.

Euro Truck Simulator is a European first - A truck simulation game in a European setting, with European long haulage trucks! Drive across a realistic depiction of Europe, visit its beautiful cities, pick up a variety of cargos, and deliver them on time!
The road network in Euro Truck Simulator is based on genuine European roads, and cities in the game bring the essence of their real-world counterparts to the game.

As the game is set in Europe, European truck-designs feature exclusively - all trucks use highly realistic, meticulously detailed models based on real trucks. The truck interiors of Euro Truck Simulator are as equally impressive as the exteriors. With actual working instruments such as flashing indicators, temperature and low fuel warning lights, wipers, and naturally - a full set of gauges including speedometer - all built into the interior 3D model, Euro Truck Simulator offers a truly immersive simulation environment. The player can pan around the cabin, just as if they were actually sitting at the wheel.
